Archaeology is Awesome. The Caribbean is Amazing. Could you think of a better combination? Who wouldn't love to work right next to a beautiful beach, while enjoying a nice temperature, the beautiful nature and on your free day a nice trip and a cocktail?
I wouldn't know what to do else. I think I'm made to do this. Attracted by the mysterious pre-Columbian history of the Caribbean, I fell in love with this region when I first discovered the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2013. And now, after two visits to this beautiful country, it's time for new impressions. From Spanish to French, Martinique is next on the list. And I'm looking forward to it! I cleaned my suitcase, washed my mosquito net and sharpened my trowel (what can an archaeologist do without it?).
